I always struggle with finding the best position to make this type of photo. There are so many factors that you can’t control that can get in the way. The ump will usually be in the position he is in here, but when the play happens quickly he could be anywhere. Here are Louisville in 2017 the background helped me pick the right spot to be in.

I loved the way that Louisville put on the regionals in 2017. Ever since then I have hoped for a return visit there. The draw has not worked out yet though. The stadium decoration and the action worked so well here to make an image that has stuck with me even since I made it.
